Mrs. Matilda (Phares) Minnie of Pricedale,died Thursday,Jan. 5,1956,of a heart attack. She was born Feb.26,1878 and was a member of the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church. She is survived by three daughters,Viola, Sylvia and Vella,all at home;four sons,Leroy and Joseph of Pricedale,Robert and James at Desoon Veterans Hospital,in Butler;one grandchild;three sisters,Margaret Phares,of Pricedale,Mrs. Rose Horton of Lemont Furnace and Mrs. Florence Saunders of Steubenville,Ohio;three brothers,John of Pittsburgh,Russell and Oscar of Pricedale. Friends will be received at the Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church after 1 p.m. Sunday, January 8,where funeral services will be held Monday,January 9 at 11 a.m. in charge of Rev. Andrew Chaney. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son,funeral directors.
