Edwina Johnston;75;of Monessen;died Friday;March 2;2001;in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh. Born Dec.25;1925;in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dora Forsyth McLaughlin. A homemker;Mrs.Johnston had been a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen. Survivors include her children;Patricia Gale Feick of Gastonville and Scott A.Johnston of Alexandria;Va.;two grandsons;William C.Feick Jr.and Jason M.Feick;both of Gastonville;and a brother-in-law;Melvin A.Johnston of Gibsonia. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Gale W.Johnston;five brothers;Boyd;David;William;Robert and Mark McLaughlin;and one sister;Sarah McLaughlin. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.;a Golden Rule Funeral Home;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m.in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.William Gawles officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
