She had been a resident of Monessen for the past 44 years;and was a member of the First Christian Church here. She is survived by her husband;Harold Matheny;three children;Mrs.Sam Simon and Clarence Matheny;both of Monessen and Mrs.Mae Bailey;R.D.2;Belle Vernon;two grandchildren and a brother;Charles Burns of Baltimore;Md.Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel on McKee avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the funeral home;with Rev.Vernon Bowers;pastor of the First Christian Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
