Mrs. Mary M. Matthews,aged 26 years,1266 Morgan avenue,died Sunday,March 15,1953,in Zanesville,Ohio. Surviving are her husband,David Matthews; three children,Francine Kay,Francis Lee and Darnell,all at home;her parents,Mr.and Mrs. Oscar Williams,whith whom the deceased made her home;eight brothers,Edward,Eugene,Clark,Allen,Earl,and Lonnie,all at home,and Shelby,with the U.S.Army,stationed in Germany,and Gene,with the U.S. Army,stationed in Florida;three sisters,Juanita,of New York City,Lorraine,and Shirley Ann, both at home. Friends are bieng received at the Draper Funeral Home,608 Sixth street. Funeral services will be conducted from the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,on Thursday,March 19,at 11 a.m. Rev. William Parker will be in charge of the services,with Rev. E. Archie assisting. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,mortician.
