John C. Lautsch of 515 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi, died Tuesday,Nov.9,1976, at 3:15 p.m. in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. Lautsch was born April 10,1926 in North Belle Vernon, a son of the late John R. Lautsch and Katherine Knut Lautsch who survives. He was employed at the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. A veteran of World War II, he was past commander of both the Charleroi Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 167 and the 29th Division Association, Mon Valley Post 95. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Charleroi, Tenth St. Athletic Club, and the Travelers Protective Association, Post D,of Lancaster, Pa, In addition to his mother, Mr. Lautsch is survived by his widow, Caroline D. Palumbo Lautsch; two sons. John and Robert, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. J.E. (Roslyn) Simonin of Fallowfield Twp.; two brothers, Walter Lautsch of Lynnwood and Joseph Lautsch of Lancaster, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Joan Kjose of Bellflower, Calif., Mrs. Anthony (Louise) Lazar of Lansford, Pa., Mrs. Anna Domjancic of Monessen, Mrs. Michael (Stella) Fiorill of Lancaster, Pa. Friends will be received at the Carl J. Spallino Funeral Home, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday,Nov.12,at 11 a.m.at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church,Charleroi. The Rev.John J.Thomas will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:30. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Mon Valley Hospital building fund through the funeral home. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
