William C.(Cotton) Lehew;68;of 356 Anna St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Nov.4;1975 at 10:30 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Belle Vernon on Feb.19;1907;he was a son of the late William C.and Jennie Lehew. Mr.Lehew was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. He retired in 1969 from the automatic finish department of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club and the Musical Society of Belle Vernon. His wife;Marjorie Wolfe Lehew;preceded him in death on Feb.2;1969. Surviving are two sons;Dale W.of Charleroi and Carey V.at home;one daughter;Mrs.Philip (Norma) DuPriest of Arlington;Va.;two sisters;Mrs.Andrew (Gene) Brazack and Mrs.Helen Adams;both of Belle Vernon;and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday. Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m.at the funeral home with Pastor R.Dawson Hopson of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
