He was born in Arnold City on September 5;1909 and was employed at Republic Steel Corp.;Youngstown. Surviving are his widow;Mary;one son;M-Sgt.James F.Leithold;with the U.S.Air Force at Clinton;Md.;ond daughter;Mrs.Barry (Janice) Heiner of Butler;his mother;Mrs.Ella Leithold;of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Wilbur E.Leithold and William L.Leithold;both of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Kenneth Horning of Alhambra;Calif.and Dorothy Leithold of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon;officiating.
