Obituary

John R. Lautsch of 913 Marguerite Ave., Monessen, died Monday,Feb.7,1972 at 6:40 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a long llness. Born in Austria-Hungary, Mr. Lautsch had been a Monessen resident since 1940. Previous to that time he had lived in the Belle Vernon area. He was a member of St. Hyacinth R. C. Church, Monessen, and of its Holy Name Society. Mr. Lautsch had retired from the blast furnace department of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Katherine Lautsch; three sons, Walter of Lynnwood, John C. of North Charleroi and Josep Lautsch of Lancaster; five daughters, Mrs. Joanne Kjose of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Anthony (Louise) Loschiavo of Lindenhurst, Long Island, N. Y., Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Lazar, also of Lindenhurst, Mrs. Anne Domjancic of Monessen and Mrs. Stella Fiorill of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday at the Billick Funeral Home,Grand Blvd., Monessen,where a Blessing service will be held Wednesday,Feb.9,at 8:30 a.m.followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 9 a.m.at St.Hyacinth R.C.Church,Monessen,with the Rev.Casimir Trzeciakowski,pastor,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Robert A.Billick,funeral director.
