Mrs. Phyllis Lindey,84,of Brownstown R.D.1, Fayette City,died Tuesday,Dec. 21,1971,at 1:45 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willard Jones of Fayette City. Born Feb. 10,1887,in Dravosburg, Mrs. Lindey was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marybelle Beadling Davies. She is survived by four daughters,Mrs. Mary Jolley of Fayette City R.D.1,Mrs. Jones, Mrs. William Hickey and Mrs. Paul Cope,both of Fayette City R.D.1;17 grandchildren,36 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one brother, George Davies of Dry Tavern. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City,where services will be held Friday,Dec. 24,1971 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George McNeel,pastor of the Brownstone Christian and Missionary Alliance Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director in charge.
