David J.Lahey;20 Knox Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;April 21;1967;at 5 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Although he had been in ill health;his death was unexpected. Mr.Lahey was born in Pittsburgh and resided in Monessen most of his life. He was formerly employed as a bricklayer at National Tube;McKeesport. He was a member of St.Leonard R.C.Church;Monessen and the Holy Name Society of the church. Surviving are five sisters;Mrs.John (Mary) Tormay and Mrs.John R.(Anna) McCahill;Monessen;Catherine C.Lahey and Nellie Lahey at home;Mrs.K.W.(Agnes) DeRousse;Bethel Park;Pittsburgh;a brother;Edward J.Lahey Jr.;Monessen;nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home;Monessen;beginning at 7 p.m.Saturday. Funeral services will be held Monday;April 24;at 10 a.m.from the funeral home with additional services of Requiem High Mass at 11 a.m.from St.Leonard R.C.Church;Monessen. The Rev.Regis Hickey will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A.Billick;funeral director.
