Mrs. Nora Lowery,53,of 123 Long Ave.,Fairhope,died at her home on Saturday, July 15,1961 at 6 p.m. She was born in Oakdale,Pa. on Oct. 16,1907,the daughter of Nicholas and Rose Thieser. She had been a resident of Fairhope since July, 1957. Survivors are her husband, Bert O. Lowery,one son, Robert W. McKeever of Perryopolis,R.D.2, three brothers, Barney of Gibsonton,Peter of Monessen and George of Belle Vernon, three sisters, Mrs. Clara Vezzani and Mrs. Rose Gaul, both of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Betty Bell of Fairhope and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Services will be held there Wednesday, July 19,1961,at 1:30 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. Michael Hullihan,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,Belle Vernon, is the funeral director.
