He retired thirty years ago as a police sergeant for the P.an L.E.Railroad. He is survived by his widow;Ida Monti Luce;one son;Woodrow Luce;Jeannette;two daughters;Mrs.Andrew (Hazel) Smith of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Isodore (Florence) Verkleeren Jr.;Charleroi;one sister;Mrs.Germainia Carney of Levittsburg;Ohio;eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
