John Stanley Linde Sr.,83,died at his late home in Brownstown, Fayette City R.D.1 on Monday, Sept. 15,1958 at 5 p.m. He was the son of the late William and Armania Geesky Linde. Born on Feb. 18,1875,he was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Survivors include his wife,Phyllis;these sons and daughters,Mrs. Stephen (Mary ) Jolley,Mrs. Willard (Lavania) Jones,John Stanley Jr.,Louis,Mrs. William (Phyllis) Hickey,and Mrs. Paul (Olive ) Cope, all of Fayette City;five brothers,Louis J. of Slippery Rock,William of Harrisville,Joseph, Edward and Harry, all of Slippery Rock;two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Butler of Fayette City and Mrs. Sadie Wilcox of Dayton,Ohio. Friends will be received at the late home until noon Friday when the body will be moved to the Christan Missionary Alliance Church for services. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
