William J.Lutes;Sr.;57;of Stockdale;died in the Presbyterian hospital;Pittsburgh;Thursday;February 13;1958;at 12:45 a.m.after an illness of two weeks.  He was born in Fayette City;January 13;1901;the son of William J.and Regina Zehfuss Lutes.  He was employed at the Allenport mill of the Pittsburgh Steel company as a gauger in the Cold Draw Department.  He is survived by his wife;Verna Sapko Lutes;two sons;William Jr.;of Stockdale;and Robert A.;at home;two daughters;Anna May at home and Mrs.Betty DiBiase of Vineland;New Jersey;two sisters;Mrs.Elizabeth Luce of Speers and Mrs.Sadie Kirkwood of Ellwood City;and three grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Parkins Funeral Home after 1 p.m.Friday. Visiting hours will be from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Services will be held there Monday;February 17;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.J.F.Bellville;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Byron C.Parkins is the funeral director.
