James Russell Lehew,of 28 Schoonmaker Ave.,died Thursday, May 30,1957 at 7 a.m. at his home. A resident of Monessen for 23 years,Mr. Lehew was a retired employee of the straight and cut department at the Page plant of the American Chain and Cable Co.,Inc. He was a membr of te Protective Home Circle. Surviving are his wife, Genevieve and a sister, Mrs. Clara Fleming,of Pricedale. Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals,100 Schoonmaker Ave. from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3,at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. Lester Crum,pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L. Kravats,funeral director.
