John W.Lawrence,83,of 133 Main street,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday, May 11,1955,at 5 p.m. He was born in Cumberland,Maryland,January 7,1872. He is survived by his wife,Violet,two daughters,Mrs.John Carlett of Keyser,West Virginia,and Alice Louise at home,and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there May 14,1955,at 9 a.m.,in charge of Rev.George Elgin and Rev.John Turner. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer and Shelby D.Ferguson are the funeral directors.
