Mrs.Stephen (Mary) Shandor Karnitz;72;of Allenport died Sunday;Jan.21;1973;at 7:10 p.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Fayette County Aug.19;1900. Surviving are her husband;Stephen Karnitz;and several nieces and nephews in the Belle Vernon and Washington Twp.area. She was preceded in death by a sister;Anna Shandor Seaman of Arnold City;in 1969 and brother;John Sandor of Monessen;in 1972. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a scripture Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m.and a prayer service will be Wednesday;Jan.24;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Stephen J.Drab as celebrant.
