A retired coal miner;he was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 7810. Surviving are four daughters;Mrs.Bertha Shaw;Mrs.Mildred Lloyd;Mrs.Mary Paholski;all of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Sophia Bachinski of Monessen;four sons;Joseph of Belle Vernon;Thomas of Fayette City R.D.1;Matthew of Hutchinson and Nick of Monessen;16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a Rosary will be said Monday at 8 p.m.and a prayer service will be held Tuesday;April 11;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m.at Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Stephen J.Drab; officiating.
