Michael (Corky) Kurtak;61;of 211 Second St.;Monessen;died Sunday;Feb.12;1967;at 11:45 a.m.in Veterans Administration Hospital at Aspinwall. He was a member of St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church;Monessen. A veteran of World War II;Mr.Kurtak served in the European Theatre with Co.D.28th Division. He is survived by a daughter;Yvonne Jean Kurtak in California state;his mother;Mrs.Mary Kurtak;and a brother;Joseph of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Adam (Ann) Klawcho and Mrs.Joseph (Elizabeth) Shirley of Pricedale. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Monday at the John L.Kravets Funeral Home in Monessen.
