Adam Klawcho Sr.,81,of 808 Monongahela St.,Belle Vernon,died Monday, May 18,1964 at 8:30 p.m. in Washington Hospital. Mr. Klawcho was born in Czechoslovakia,Oct. 18,1882,and had lived in this area for 50 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church,Charleroi,Slovak Evangelical Union 46 of Charleroi and Russian Club of Pricedale. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary,he is survived by three sons,Adam Jr. of Pricedale,John of Detroit, Mich. and Frank,at home, five daughters, Mrs. Susan Rutkowski of Dearborn,Mich.,Mrs. Marie Pisula of Detroit,Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Jackowski of Monessen,Mrs. John (Arlene) Slavischalk of Belle Vernon and Bernice at home;eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.,May 19. Blessing service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, May 22,at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church,Charleroi. The Rev. Stephen Hurnyak,pastor,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
