Edward E. Kirkpatrick,64,road supervisor in Rostraver Twp.for 24 years,died Wednesday morning, Aug. 14,1963,at 5 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial. Mr. Kirkpatrick,a resident of the Sweeney Plan,R.D.2, Belle Vernon,was born in Venetia on Sept. 1,1898. He is a former member of the Rostraver Twp. Lions Club. Surviving him are his widow, Elizabeth; one daughter, Barbara at home;two sons, James of Monessen and Edward Jr. of Lorraine, Ohio;one sister, Mrs. Minnie Charlton of Charleroi and one brother,Arthur Kirkpatrick of Verona. Friends will be received at the James C. Stump Funeral Home,Sweeney Plan,where a funeral service will be held Saturday Aug. 17,at 2 p.m. The Rev. W.S. Van Arsdale,pastor of the Charleroi Christian Church,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. James C. Stump,funeral director.
