Obituary

James Ivan Kostelac, 73,of Hillman St.,Fairhope,died Thursday, May 10,1962,at 7:10 at his late home. Born in Yugoslavia, June 13,1888,he was a member of St.Edward's R.C.Church,Fayette City,and a former United Mine worker, retiring ten years ago.  His last employment was at the Black Diamond Mine.  Mr. Kostelac had a been a resident of Fairhope for many years. Surviving are his widow,Mary; four sons, John of Monessen,Joseph of Fairhope,William of Long Island,N.Y.,and Rudolph of Lowber; a daughter, Mrs. Roland (Rose) McFall of Fairhope; a brother, Nick of Fairhope;ten grandchidlren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 7 p.m. May 10.  Funeral services will take place there on Saturday,May 12,at 9 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass at St. Edward's R.C.Church,Fayette City,at 9:30 a.m.  The Rev. Charles W. Ribick,pastor, will be the celebrant.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
