Andrew Kurtak Sr.;of 704 East Luce St.;Monessen;died Thursday;March 8;1962;at 2:50 p.m.at his late home. He was a resident of Monessen for the past 56 years and a member of St.John the Divine R.O.Church of Monessen. Surviving are his widow;Mary;and the following children;Michael of Monessen;Andrew at home;Mrs.Adam (Ann) Klawcho and Mrs.Joseph (Elizabeth) Shirley;both of Pricedale;and Joseph at home;four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals in Monessen after 7 p.m. March 9. Blessing service at the funeral home will take place Monday;March 12 at 8:30 a.m.followed with additional services at 9 a.m.in St.John the Divine R.O.Church;with the Very Rev.John Govrusik;pastor;officiating.
