Obituary

Enoch Koslasky Sr.,69,of 30 Columbus St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Sept.28,1960,at 6:30 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital,Brownsville. Born in Poland,July 31,1891,Mr.Koslasky had been a Belle Vernon resident since 1944,coming there from Fairhope. He was a member of the St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,Polish National Alliance of Arnold City and United Mine Workers of America. He was a retired coal miner,having retired from Somers Mine Pricedale in 1953. Preceded in death by a son,Stanley,Aug.8,1959,he is survived by his wife,Mary Varsel Koslasky,his mother,Mrs.Mary Bilsky of Fairhope,three sons,Enoch Jr.of Fairhope,Raymond,at home and Albert,Belle Vernon,a daughter,Mrs.James (Julia) Paholski,Lynnwood,three brothers,Stanley and Alex of Fairhope and Charles of Ashtabula,Ohio,a sister,Mrs.Stanley Varsel of Fairhope,six grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Saturday,Oct.1,1960,at 10 a.m.from St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev.Andrew J.King officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
