Joseph Kostelac; 83; died this morning at 10 o’clock at the home of his son; Frank Kostelac; Fairhope.
He was born in Yugoslavia; Dec 1; 1876 and has been a resident of Fairhope for 50 years. He was a miner by
occupation and retired in 1938. He was a member of St. Edwards R.C. Church; Fayette City.
Preceded in death by his wife; Rose Kostelac in February; 1950; he is survived by one son; Frank; one daughter
Mrs. Glenn (Mary) McKee; of Fairhope; two brothers; James and Nick; also of Fairhope; and eight
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home; Belle Vernon; beginning Wednesday at 1 p.m. Visiting
hours will be 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Blessing service there Friday;June 24;1960;at 9 a.m.;will be followed by Requiem High Mass at St.Edward’s R.C.Church;Fayette City. Rev.Charles Ribick will be in charge.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director.
