Obituary

Joseph Kostelac, 83, died this morning at 10 o&rsquo,clock at the home of his son, Frank Kostelac, Fairhope. He was born in Yugoslavia, Dec 1, 1876 and has been a resident of Fairhope for 50 years. He was a miner by occupation and retired in 1938. He was a member of St. Edwards R.C. Church, Fayette City. Preceded in death by his wife, Rose Kostelac in February, 1950, he is survived by one son, Frank, one daughter Mrs. Glenn (Mary) McKee, of Fairhope, two brothers, James and Nick, also of Fairhope, and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, beginning Wednesday at 1 p.m. Visiting hours will be 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Blessing service there Friday,June 24,1960,at 9 a.m.,will be followed by Requiem High Mass at St.Edward's R.C.Church,Fayette City.  Rev.Charles Ribick will be in charge and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
