Anthony A.Jones;46.of 1339 Sherman St.;Pittsburgh;died Tuesday;Dec.6;1977 at 4:30 a.m. He was found in the back seat of a parked car in Pittsburgh’s Hill District;an apparent robbery victim. He was shot five times. Mr.Jones was the owner of two Pittsburgh area taverns and was self-employed. He was born in Pricedale on Nov.10;1931;a son of William Jones Sr.and the late Margaret Jones. He attended Belle Vernon area schools and resided in Pricedale and Monessen before moving to Pittsburgh. Survivors include his father;William Jones Sr.of Arnold City;his widow;Mattie Ora Jones of Monessen;four sons;Anthony A.Jones and Anzalone Jones;both of Monessen;Angelo Jones with the U.S.Army in Germany and Michael C.Jones of Arnold City;four daughters;Mrs.Edward (Antonia) Bell and Miss Andrea Jones;both of Monessen;Mrs.Napoleon (Angalene)Madison of Belle Vernon and Miss Anita Jones of Pittsburgh;one brother;William Jones of Pittsburgh;one sister;Mrs.Louise I.McCullum of Arnold City;seven grandchildren;one niece and one great-nephew. Friends will be received in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;from 7 to 9 p.m.on Wednesday;Dec.7 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.on Thursday;Dec.8;where funeral services will be held on Friday;Dec.9 at 11 a.m.in the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church in Monessen with the Rev.G.Mason;officiating.
