Morgan Edwin James Sr.;96;of Belle Vernon R.D.2 (Gibsonton);died at his home Monday;Feb.9;1970;at 11:07 a.m. Mr.James had lived in Gibsonton 40 years;moving there from Monessen. He retired 16 years go after being employed at the No.1 rod mill of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Preceding him in death were his wife;Mary Tucker James;Nov.27;1943;and a son;Morgan Edwin James Jr.;Sept.9;1968. Mr.James;who was born May 3;1873;in Hubbard;Ohio;is survived by two daughters;Mrs.Winnifred Lancaster of Gibsonton;with whom he made his home;and Mrs.George (Mary) Ritzer of Gibsonton;nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.;Feb.10.
