Mrs.Mabel Thelma James;67;of Lewis Ave.Speers;died today at 12:30 a.m. at her home. A resident of Speers since 1948;Mrs.James was a member of Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She formerly lived in New Eagle. Born in Philadelphia on April 30;1899;she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lydia (Heish) Alexander. Surviving are her husband;Albert Davis James;two daughters;Mrs. George (Thelma Mae) Flowers of Levittown and Mrs. Clyde (Celia Lydia) Henry of Bentleyville;a brother;Fred;and five sisters;Mrs. Irene Madden;Mrs.Lillian Snyder;Mrs.Violet Roller;Mrs.Caroline Pfieffer and Mrs. Mary McGuire;all of Philadelphia;and three grandchildren. A daughter;Mrs.Pearl Elizabeth Piot died in 1957. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. May 25 and until 11 a.m. Friday May 27. Service in Church of the Nazarene;Belle Vernon Friday May 27 at 2 p.m. with the Rev.G.Ackinclose.pastor;officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director.
