Obituary

Harry C.Junk,82,of 400 Motheral Ave.,Monessen,died Saturday,September 11,1965,at 3:35 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lingering illness. Born in Uniontown,Mr.Junk had lived in the Mon Valley 50 years. He was employed at the Monessen Page Division of American Chain and Cable Co.,retiring from there in February,1956. His wife,Sibbi Ellen Junk,died in April,1956. Also deceased are five children,George,Olive Jane,Paul,Orlo and Richard. Mr.Junk was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monessen. He is survived by two daughters,Betty Junk at home and Mrs.Raymond (Beverly) Ronk of Indianapolis,Ind.,three sons,Joseph of Monessen,John of Portage,Ind.,and Harry Jr.of Landover Hills,Md.,eleven grandchildren,four nieces and six nephews. Friends are being received at the H.Denver Rhome Funeral Home,Monessen,where a service will take place Tuesday,Sept.14,at 1:30 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Glenn H.Burrows,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church,Monessen. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome,funeral director.
