Mrs. Shirley Johnson, 43, of Elco, died Thursday,May 28,1964, at 6:30 a.m. in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Belles. She was a member of the Roscoe Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, J. Bruce Johnson; three sons, Charles with the U. S. Air Force; Joseph Bruce Jr., with the Armed Forces in Frankfurt, Germany; Raymond, at home; three brothers, Howard Belles, Pittsburgh; Charles Belles, Alexandria, Va. and Elmer Belles, in Florida; a sister, Evelyn Sahm in Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home, Roscoe, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday,May 31,at 1:30 p.m.from the funeral home,with the Rev.Wendell Paull,pastor of Roscoe Methodist Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ruth Eckert,funeral director.
