Obituary

Rachel E. Johnston,74,of 231 Main St.,Belle Vernon,died in Brownsville Hosptial Monday,July 29,1963 at 3 p.m.  She had been admitted to the hospital on Sunday.  Mrs. Johnston was born in Large,Pa.,on Sept. 26,1888. Surviving are her husband, George P.;one son, George L. of Belle Vernon;three daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Frances) Peters of Cheswick, Mrs. Albin (Leona) Bartron of Donora and Mrs. William (Gertrude) Wolfe of Renton, Pa., seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home in Donora after 7 p.m.,July 30.  Service there Thursday,Aug. 1,at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Hengust Robinson,pastor of Donora's First Methodist Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home in charge.
