Jacob Jackson,of Fairhope,Fayette City R.D.1,died Monday morning at 5 o'clock in the Oakland Veterans Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was born May 15,1900 in Pennsylvania,and was a former steel mill worker. A veteran of World War II,he was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Surviving are two brothers,Larry of Alhambra,Calif.;George of Cleveland,Ohio and a sister,Mrs.John Potiseck of Darragh. Friends will be received at the George M.McCrory & Son Funeral Home,Fayette City,after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday,Dec.18,at 2 p.m. The Rev. James D. Percy,pastor of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory & Son,funeral director.
