The remains of Spec.5 Lemuel Isbell,21,will arrive at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home Saturday, March 8,1969 at 6 p.m. Mr. Isbell was serving with the 148th Ordinance near Saigon,and was killed in action there on Feb. 25. He was in his second tour of duty in Vietnam. He was born in Arkansas, March 25,1947,and was graduated from Charleroi Area High School. He was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of North Charleroi. Surviving are his parents, Arnell Isbell Sr.and Celia Isbell of North Charleoi;six brothers, Lawrence of New York City,Arnell Jr.of Detroit,Mich.,Richard with the U.S. Navy in Mississippi,Thurman with the U.S. Marine Corps in North Carolina,Nathanial and Eric at home;five sisters,Faye,Magnolia,Brenda Kay,Deborah and Linda Gay,all at home;several uncles,aunts and cousins. Friends will be received beginning at 2 p.m.,Sunday,during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The remains will be removed March 11 at 7 p.m. to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church,North Charleroi,where services will be held March 12,at 1 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. E.W. Demps. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor of Monessen is the funeral director.
