Edgar Isbell, Sr.,75,of North Charleroi,R.D.1,died Tuesday, March 14,1967.at 6:20 a.m. at his home. Surviving are his widow,Norma; a son, Edgar Jr. of Chaleroi;a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Brown of Monessen; five grandchildren;one great-grandchild;brothers,Leroy of Pittsburgh,Thurman and Arnell of North Charleroi,Albert of Little Rock,Ark.;sisters, Irene Robinson of New York City,Mattie Barnett of Chicago, Ill.,and Zelma Isbell of Little Rock. Friends are being received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahan Ave.,Monessen,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. On Friday,March 17,at 4 p.m. the body will be taken to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church,North Charleroi,to lie in state until 1 p.m.Saturday,March 18,time of service. The Rev. W.W. Derrios and a former pastor of the church,the Rev. P.L. Green,pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church,Connellsville,will officiate. Intermnt will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R. Taylor,funeral director.
