Robert R.Hawker;85;of Perryopolis;R.D.1;died Saturday;June 25;1977;at 1:30 p.m. at his home. He was born in Dunbar on April 19;1892;son of the late James P.and Emma C.Hanan Hawker. He was a member of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church at Fayette City R.D.1 and the United Mineworkers Local 6548. Mr.Hawker was a retired stationary engineer of the United States Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow;Lelah Lynch Hawker;two sons;James P.and William R.Hawker;both of Perryopolis R.D.1;one daughter;Mrs.Alex (Helen) Sethman of Carmichaels;seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr.Hawker was the last of nine children;having been preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.Fred G.Gnatuk of Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D.1;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
