Mr.Hunter;a retired U.S.Postal Department clerk;where he had worked in the state of California;was born in North Charleroi on Jan.2;1908. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army serving during World War II;a member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen;the American Legion Post 695 of Monessen;the Okay Lodge 697 and the IBPOE Elks Lodge in Monessen. He is survived by two aunts;Mrs.Nettie McClain of North Carolina and Mrs.Floyd Simmons of Belle Vernon;and two uncles;Floyd Simmons of Belle Vernon and Lonnie Graham of Cleveland;Ohio. Friends will be received in the William L.Taylor Funeral Home;McMahon Ave.;Monessen;form 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and from 2 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the Union Baptist Church of Monessen;with the Rev.E.D.Wiley;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
