Mary Hawk;84;of Fayette City;died Friday;March 5;1976 at 9:20 p.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Connellsville on June 20;1891. Her husband;William Hawk;preceded her in death in 1945. Surviving are three sons;William Hawk of Fayette City R.D.;Robert Hawk of Cleveland;Ohio;and James Hawk of Chardon;Ohio;four daughters;Mrs.Bess Behanna of Greensburg;Mrs.Edith Hegedus of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Roy (Marian) Coleman of Cape Cod;Mass.;and Mrs.Lawrence (Geraldine) Moran of Fayette City;20 grandchildren;23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 6 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.at the funeral home;with the Rev.Robert H.R.Loughborough Jr.of Marion United Presbyterian Church in Fairhope;in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is the funeral director in charge.
