Charles Howarth;78;of 76 Main St.;Pricedale;died on Tuesday;May 22;1973;at 3:10 a.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in England on January 31;1895;and was a retired coal miner;having retired from Victoria Coal Co.;Pricedale;in 1955. Mr.Howarth had lived in Pricedale since 1936. He was preceded in death by his wife;Elizabeth Morgan Howarth;August 4;1970 and by a son;Harry Charles Howarth in 1944. Surviving are two sons;John J.Howarth of Monessen and George P.Howarth of Pricedale;one daughter;Mrs.Joseph (Margaret) Lisser of Cleveland;Ohio;seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 10 p.m.Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.Wednesday.
