Freederick E.Hauser;44;of 112 Second St.;Belle Vernon;was killed Saturday morning;Aug.26;1972;when a 10-ton road roller which he had been operating rolled over him. Hauser;an employee of Metz Construction Company;Bentleyville;was working on Riggs Road in the Piney Fork Village Plan of South Park Twp.when he slipped off the back of the machine. The accident happened at 9:30 a.m. Hauser was born in Germany Sept.18;1927. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Navy. He was a member of the G.B.U.Club of Monessen. Surviving are his widow;Dolores Matrozzo Hauser;step-children;Robert;Ronald;Karen and Linda Drudal at home;stepfather;Joseph Kroeschel of Monessen;brothers;Gus of Van Weert;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Anna Celaschi of Elizabeth and Mrs.Hilda Laatu of Monessen. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a service will be held Tuesday;Aug.29;at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
