Obituary

A 34 year old North Belle Vernon man, Terry B. Hunt,was accidently electrocuted while working in the basement of his home at 115 Vine St. on Monday,Sept. 6,1971. He died on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 11:30 a.m.  He was born in Uniontown on Jan. 11,1937 and had been a resident of the Belle Vernon area for the past five years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at Braddock. Surviving are his widow, Elva Byers Hunt; two children, Selina and Tracy, both at home; five brothers, Thomas and Timothy of Cleveland,Ohio, Thompson and Todd of Detroit, Mich.and Sam of Uniontown; six sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Louise) Horne,Mrs. Jane Gaskill,Mrs. Regis (Trudy) Dura and Mrs. Thacille Hucik, all of Uniontown,Mrs. Jim (Ruth) Slark of Monaca and Mrs. Roger (Toni) Davis of Washington, D.C. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Billick Funeral Home in Monesssen, where a service will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. with the pastor or the First United Methodist Church, Belle Vernon, officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
