Mrs. Florence Hawker of Pittsburgh died Tuesday, June 15,1971 in the Oakmont Residence,a nursing home. She was born in Washington Twp. Aug. 15,1889 and had been the daughter of the late Alex and Belle Stephens Montgomery. She was the widow of the late Elmer G. Hawker of Fayette City. She was a member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church at Pittsburgh. Surviving are one son, George M. Hawker of Pittsburgh;one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Campbell of Waynesboro and one sister, Anna Montgomery of Fayette City. Five grandchildren also survive. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 17 at 1 p.m. at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City.
