Joseph Hoston, 68,of Pricedale,died suddenly Sunday, July 6,1969 at 9 p.m. in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Pricedale,he was a son of the late Joseph and Matilda Phares Hoston. Mr. Hoston was a member of Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church,Pricedale and was a retired employee of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are two brothers, Leroy and Robert Minnie,and two sisters, Vella and Sylvia Minnie,all of Pricedale. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends will be received at Pleasant Green A.M.E. Church,Pricedale after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Service there Thursday,July 10,at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory of Fayette City is the funeral director.
