Louis Hegedus, 90,a Fairhope resident for the past 70 years,died Monday, Dec. 27,1965 at 4:20 p.m. He lived at 427 Perry Ave.,Fairhope, Belle Vernon. Mr. Hegedus was born in Austria-Hungary,Dec. 11,1875. He was a member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church,and of the Hungarian Club, Pricedale. He was retired in the early 1940s from the Hillman Coal and Coke Co. Preceded in death by his wife, Hermin Trenk Hegedus,March 15,1948,he is survived by three grandchidlren,Louis Hegedus of Fairhope,Mrs. Henrietta Jackson of Castle Shannon and Mrs. Margaret Calderbank of Pittsburgh and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. Dec. 28. Funeral services will be held Thursday,Dec. 30,at 1 p.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. Victor Bodnar,pastor of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church, Pricedale,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
