Mrs.Magdalen (Margaret) Halkowitz;62;of 116 Price St.;Belle Vernon;died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Saturday;Oct.16;1965;at 11 a.m. Born in Hungary on Oct.24;1902;she had lived in the Belle Vernon area 58 years. Mrs.Halkowitz was a member of St.Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;Catholic Daughters of America and Confraternity of Christian Mothers;both of the church. Surviving are her husband;Mike;a son;Alex of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.Regis (Magdalene) Greenway of Pittsburgh;Margaret Halkowitz of Cincinnati;Ohio;and Mrs.James (Frances) Whittaker of Belle Vernon and seven grandchildren.
