Mrs.Mattie G.Hickey;66;of 18 Speers St.;Speers;died Sunday;May 31;1964;at 7 a.m. at her home. Mrs.Hickey was born in Briceville;Tenn.;Aug.20;1897;and had lived almost her entire lifetime in Speers. She was a member of Speers Methodist Church and Dames of Malta of Belle Vernon and Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars of Charleroi. Surviving are a son;William of Fayette City;a daughter;Mrs.Herman (Vivian) Blick;Webster;a brother;Charles Rogers;Sullivan;Ind.;five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband;William on March 10;1955 and by a son;Thomas on June 5;1963. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.June 1. Funeral home visiting hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday;June 3;at 1:30 p.m.from the funeral home. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
