Services for Elmer G. Hawker of 6525 Northumberland St., Squirrel Hill,will be at 1 p.m. Friday June 8,1962 at H. Samson Funeral Home,537 N. Neville St. Mr. Hawker,72, died Tuesday, June 5,1962 in Columbia Hospital. He was a salesman for the Investors Diversified Services, Inc.,in the Park Building. He was a member of the Sixth United Presbyterian Church,Bellefield Lodge No. 680,F&AM,Scottish Rite and Syria Temple. Surviving are his widow,Mrs. Florence Mongtgomery Hawker; a son, George M. of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Campbell,of Waynesboro; a sister, Mrs. William Smith of Dormont; a brother, Robert of Perryopolis and four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
