70; of Allenport; died Tuesday morning;August 30;1960 at 10 o’clock in the Allegheny General Hospital; Pittsburgh.
She was born in Guffey; Pa.;
December 31; 1889; and was a
member of the Allenport Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband;
James Melvin Haywood; two sons;
Leland G. Haywood at home;
Tech. Sgt. Clifton R. Haywood;
Sheppard Air Force Base. Wichita Falls; Texas; one daughter;Mrs.Charles (Mary Lou) Sowden;of Allenport;two brothers;William Guder of California;Pa.;and Charles Guder of Zanesville; Ohio;
one sister; Mrs. Melvin Lehew; of
Belle Vernon; nine grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
Friends will be received at the
Ferguson Funeral Home; Belle
Vernon; after 7 o’clock Wednesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday;September 2;1960;at 1:30 p.m.Rev.Frank A.Budnar of the Central Highlands Methodist Church will be in charge and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director.
