Mrs.Gertrude Haywood of Furlong avenue;Roscoe;died in Mercy hospital;Pittsburgh;Monday;July 14;1958;at 6:20 p.m.  She was born in Stockdale;October 21;1899;the daughter of Emmanuel and Bertha Newman Huhn.  She is survived by her husband;Earl Haywood;three sons;Rev.Earl Haywood of Springfield;Massachusetts;Edward;serving at Fort Bragg;North Carolina;with the United States Army;and Dennis at home;two daughters;Mrs.John (Dolores) Wehousie;of Roscoe;Mrs.Willard (Alden) Usher;of Elco;one brother;Arthur Huhn;of Elco;three sisters;Mrs.Alma Danahay;Mrs.Clara Carney of Roscoe;and Mrs.Wanda Guy of Clarksville;and nine grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Eckert Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Services will be held there Friday;July 18;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Charles Sowden of the Allenport Methodist Church;and Rev.Walter C.Herron of the Roscoe Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Ruth and Emil Eckert are the funeral directors.
